OUR PRODUCT STORY
-WHO WE ARE-
In order to create the best damn sheets on the internet, we
needed to find the right makers to partner with. We looked high
and low and found ours in Zhoucun, China.
They are a team of textiles and bedding experts that are able to meet our high standards for quality. We now proudly call them our friends.
WELCOME TO ZHOUCUN
Zhoucun is a small district in the city of Zibo. This city is located in the province of Shandong, halfway between Shanghai and Beijing. Zhoucun is known as one of the oldest textile regions beginning in the 17th century and establishing itself as a key origin of the silk road. Today, Zhoucun, remains a leader in textiles, leveraging their past history and knowledge in combination with today’s latest technologies, to create some of the best bedding worldwide.
MEET JACK AND LISA
-The husband and wife duo that work collaboratively with us.-
Jack started his career in computers and after meeting Lisa decided to partner together in life and also business. Together they work with a select few of the best factories in the Zhoucun area. They challenge themselves to continuously evolve and innovate in producing the best products for bedface.
-HOW OUR SHEETS ARE MADE-
The process starts with locally sourced long-staple cotton that is milled to perfection and woven into facetech™ cotton at our mill. The finished fabric is then shipped to our dyeing/printing/finishing house where it is coloured or printed using state of the art dyeing machines from Italy and finishing machines from Switzerland.
It then travels to our sewing facility where our products are batch cut and carefully sewn together. Once produced our products are washed to give them a lovely lived-in feel. After which, they undergo a careful quality control and inspection process before being packaged with care.
During our visits, we were impressed by the pleasant atmosphere in our partner’s facilities. The employees are cheerful, worked reasonable hours, and we noticed that many enjoyed naps at lunchtime.
